I am John Tasie, a frontend engineer who genuinely enjoys turning ideas into polished digital products that people find easy and enjoyable to use.

I care a lot about the details, not just how an interface looks, but how it feels, how clearly it communicates, and how reliably it performs when real users depend on it. I enjoy the balance between thoughtful design and solid engineering.

Outside of development, I enjoy playing chess, video games, researching new ideas, and experimenting with tools, workflows, and technologies that can sharpen how I think and build. I’m naturally curious, so I spend a lot of time learning, testing things for myself, and staying open to better ways of solving problems. Lately, I’ve also signed up for kick-boxing training, which has been teaching me discipline, focus, and consistency in a completely different way.
